LeAnn Bova spent her childhood in rural Kansas. While visiting her aunt on summer vacations in Kansas City, Bova was introduced to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. LeAnn had started drawing at an early age, but the visits to the Nelson fomented her desire to be an artist.
